1997
R&D Begins
Motivated by his wife Cindy's quest for truly effective skincare products, Jess Vivier made a bold decision in 1997. He left a successful career in pharmaceuticals to pursue advanced skincare research and product development. Drawing on the pharmaceutical standard that treatments should deliver targeted, measurable results, he set out to bring that same level of efficacy to skincare. His vision was to create formulations with the highest quality, pharmaceutical-grade ingredients - designed to deliver real results and help people feel confident in their skin.
2000
First Serum Launch
Three years later, Vivier launched its first Vitamin C serum – a highly stable L-Ascorbic Acid USP formulation with clinically proven penetration and retention in the dermis. With 4x greater retention than leading serums on the market, this demonstrated the power of our patented IntraDermal System (IDS®), delivering active ingredients deep into the skin where real change occurs. Today, our Vitamin C serums remain at the heart of the Vivier brand - trusted, results-driven, and foundational to healthy, radiant skin.

Polyamine-DAB® Growth Factor Innovation
We introduced our proprietary Polyamine-DAB® growth factor, a breakthrough innovation clinically proven to support wound healing and improving the volume, density, and texture of aging skin. 25 years later, with Jess' sons Mike and Steve leading the company, Vivier continues to bring his founding vision to life. By listening closely to our customers and staying rooted in science, we remain dedicated to developing innovative, results-driven skincare solutions. In 2025, we proudly introduced two breakthrough innovations - Crème 47 Luxe Concentrate and Serum 30 High-Potency Brightening Serum - marking the next chapter in our commitment to skin health.
